Raymond Croucher, Jr. ‘Little Red’

Raymond “Little Red” Croucher, Jr., age 47, of Hamilton, passed away in his residence, Thursday April 10, 2003, at 12:10 a.m. He was born in Hamilton, on September 3, 1955, the son of Raymond Sr. and Mary Lou (George) Croucher. Raymond was a member of Local #863 UAW, attended the Castaway Worship Center and was employed as a manufacturing technician for Ford Motor Company for 29 years. On October 28, 1988, in Hamilton, he was married to Karen Webb.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Croucher of Hamilton; four sons, Bobby Ray Croucher of Cincinnati, Chris and his wife Jaime Best of Hamilton, Shane and his wife Gina Best of Lakeside Park, Kentucky, and Matthew and his wife Michelle Best of Hamilton; one daughter, Amber Renee Croucher of Hamilton; four brothers, Timothy (Rachel) Croucher of College Corner, Indiana, Danny (Rhonda) Croucher of Hamilton, Johnny “Nick” Croucher of Hamilton and Greg Ratliff of College Corner, Indiana; and two sisters, Deborah Meyer of Hamilton and Maggie (Michael) Weber of Hamilton. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Brittney, Brooke, Corey, Cody, Hannah, and Kylie; a devoted aunt and uncle, Irene and Marion McGuire of Hamilton and a close friend, Debra Davis of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his grandparents, William and Mary George and John and Ella Croucher.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Monday, April 14, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. JoAnn Thompson, Pastor of Castaway Worship Center and Rev. Paul Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Castaway Worship Center, 3283 West Pekin Road, Springboro, Ohio 45066.
